Celebrate and Live Artfully this Holiday Season with the debut of The American Charity Calendar (TACC), an advent style calendar based on a longtime Danish tradition.
Living artfully means living your life with deeper meaning and lots of joy. This will become obvious as you enjoy the delightful details of this one-of-a kind Calendar, illustrated by this year’s winning artwork from the first annual TACC online art contest.
The young illustrator beautifully reflects on her childhood growing up in a log cabin in Maine while capturing the cozy feeling of the winter holiday season. This Charity Calendar is a true delight and a feast for my senses and a true reflection of the warmth and joy of the holiday season, that sometimes we can easily forget amongst the bustle of the holidays.
TACC is savvy in their use of convergence of media to create a thoughtful advent-style calendar. In time for the holidays, this multi-level event, with multiple benefits is a new way to celebrate the winter holidays, may it be Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza or anything that might be your holiday tradition.
A glimpse to how it works…On December 1st, individuals and families can open the first numbered "window" on their Charity Calendar and find a surprise picture behind the "window." A companion Internet television series will air in conjunction with that day's Calendar hidden surpirse picture. New segments will be released daily for viewing December 1 through December 25 on the TACC website as well as YouTube.com.
